Ruislip Appliances is also an outlet for Graded Stock
What is Graded Stock?
Perhaps the best way to begin is to explain what graded stock is not. Graded stock is not new; and it is not perfect. However, in many cases, it can be hard to distinguish a graded stock item, sometimes known as B grade, from a perfect one. Graded stock consists of appliances that have been returned to the manu-facturer without being used. The reasons vary for this, from items simply not working (sometimes known as “dead on arrival”), to damage to the packaging in the manufacturer’s supply chain or simple delivery errors. In many cases, chips, dents, dings or scratches will be present, but the most important thing is what we do next. When we purchase a graded item directly from the manufacturer, we put it through a comprehensive testing programme to ensure that any technical fault is corrected, and that it works exactly as it is expected to; in other words, so that it functions like new. Then we assess the item’s appearance, carefully list the cosmetic defects and describe them fairly, so that you know what to expect when you examine it for yourself. In many cases, we supply photos for you to examine as well. Finally, all graded items come with a warranty for your peace of mind.
Why should you consider buying graded stock?
The point is that the defect is reflected in the price. You can make considerable savings off the normal retail prices of these items. If you value functionality over appearance, then graded stock is well worth considering. However, you really should view these goods in person so that you know what you are pay-ing for, and are completely satisfied with your purchase. A few examples of graded stock can be found on our website, but please call: our stock is quite literally vast.
Yours SincerelyNick Mooney
